A Life Connected to Nature

Andrés Quiros is a Costa Rican nature and wildlife photographer, certified naturalist guide, and photography instructor with more than 31 years of experience leading travelers and photographers through some of the world's most remarkable natural destinations.

Born and raised in Costa Rica, Andrés grew up surrounded by mountains, volcanoes, rainforests, and extraordinary biodiversity that shaped both his life and career. That landscape became his classroom: decades spent in cloud forests, wetlands, and coastlines gave him a deep understanding of animal behavior, ecosystems, and the patience that respectful wildlife observation demands.

As a guide and instructor, Andrés blends field expertise with a personal teaching style. He helps people capture better images, yes, but also understand the story behind each shot — the light, the behavior, the habitat, and the larger connection that makes an encounter with nature meaningful.

Over his career, Andrés has guided international groups with professionalism and care, consistently earning top marks for his leadership and attention to detail. His work reflects a lifelong dedication to nature, photography, and sharing the wild beauty of his country with the world.
